Hey! Let Me Give You a Little Thanks!
Hola, ladies! Happy Thanksgiving! I wanted to post some delicious food pictures before you got here, but of course this morning I can't post pictures at all for some reason. But I've got my mimosa in front of me which is of course much better than a photo of a mimosa, and I'm feeling thankful. (P.S. I'm Jenny)

Anyone else on here? I'm late because my parents have the suckingest internet I have ever seen.
yes, I'm here. Sorry about being late, it rained last night so I had to wipe down a muddy dog!
Yay! So there's at least two of us! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanks giving to you both! My kitchen utensil is upstairs fixing a much needed breakfast. I however don't think I'm going to get a mimosa since we don't have any orange juice. Yes, no orange juice. I, however, seem to have 5 bottles of champaigne that could really use some orange juice. Do you think cranberry juice could substitute? Wish I had some of that too. No juice at all. No mimosa for me. Thanksgiving is only a few minutes old for me and already it's a let down!
No mimosa for me, either... Actually, all of our alcohol has been taken to my brother's house, where I will be headed in about a half hour.
I'm here too! I was here first, but then I went to clean something. Now I'm back.
Cleaning! Bah! I was doing Sudoku, or however the hell it's spelled.
Csn't you just drink the champagne?
Yeah, Sam, just drink the champagne... from the bottle...
Why is the alcohol at your bothers? Why did it have to get moved? Are they afraid someone will play "Shout" and Kathy will do the worm again?
Well, she'll be there, so it's still a distinct possibility. No, we're having dinner at Tim and Sharon's because they have more room and there'll be about 17 of us there.
We're probably the most technologically challenged people on the planet. Next year, let's all get those video things where you can watch people at their keyboards. Anyway, I personally am having a great Thanksgiving so far - turkey's marinating, pie's half-made, Macy's T-Day Parade is one, mimosa of course... no family. One friend's coming over later, so it's going to be chill and fun.
I already saw the whole parade. And I don't want to be a spoiler or anything, but it ends with Santa.
Yes, I could drink the champagne it is oddly enough in the basement with me. It's an interesting thought on an empty stomache...
wait did every one leave? I kinda just got here b/c I suck
All we have here is whiskey.
We're all here, boob girl. Oh, and my mother says, "You tell all those girls I said to have a Happy Thanksgiving." So, my mom said to have a Happy Thanksgiving. FYI.
The Bully Hill fairy came to my house, with a case under each arm.
oh man! Santa ends the parade! Man I had that wrong. I totally thought it was going to be Dracula this year sucking all the money out of everyone's pockets!
Strong fairy. What kinds?
Boobarella! I just assumed you were wasted by now.
The kitchen utensil said hello til I reminded him that I don't like to hear the help talk.
Now where the hell is my coffee...
She is.
There were boxes filled with Seasons and Lo0ve My Goat, and Foch, and Bull Dog, and Cabernet Franc and other goodies!
Hello to all of the kitchen utensils! You all have kitchen utensils... it's so unfair.
ARF!
So what is everyone having, besides turkey? I baked three pumpkin pies yesterday, which are all beeee-yootiful.
Happy Thanksgiving to your family, too, Wingal.
My kitchen utensil is, not surprisingly probably, building a floor in the room next to me. I need more coffee too.
Samantha, are you going over to the in-laws? Jenny, is it just you, Raph, and Gato? Boobs, is Kelly coming or anybody else? Fezzi and Clifford, woof arf arf, woof arf woof?
By the way, thanks for ruining the parade - oh, wait, Gloria Estevan is doing that RIGHT NOW.
Oh, you beetches... Mow-oo is peeesing me uff because she is sitting in my shair...
Meredith Viara totally cries like a little girl at the end of the parade...
I turned it off when Gloria came on. I figured I had tortured everyone enoug at that point. It's just us and our very cool next door neighbors this year. Kelly and the bun in her oven are in Milwaukee.
Wingal tell your mom "I'm so excited"
I told you, my mother-in-law doesn't cook. So most of it is coming straight from Safeway's bakery or out of a box. The saving grace is that everyone knows Judy isn't that good of a cook so we're bringing the sausage apple stuffing, Ingrid is bringing the gravy, Beth has the broccoli cheese casserole, so the only things left are the turkey, the pies, and twice baked potatoes. I should have made pies. Then as dessert We all get to hear about how FANtastic Karl's job is with the CHP and how he arrests all these drunks and blah, blah, blah.
It's me, Raphael, a guy named Mike who's bringing the pierogies, and possibly our friend Lisa who will no doubt show up two and a half hours after dinner is over with the makings of a really good salad that we'll all be too stuffed to eat. Then, later, drinks and dessert at a couple other peoples' houses. Maybe. Depending on the state of sobriety at that point.
Today I'm making a spiced cranberry turkey breast, brussel sprouts with lots of butter, an apple pie, Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce, and...something else. Mushroom stuffing. mmmm.
Be back in a second... I have to feed the grey monster...
I want to play in the mud! I want to play in the mud! Oh please, can I? Can I? Can I please? I'll be good. I won't beg for turkey, I won't beg for cheese, I won't beg for shimp cocktail and I won't barf it all up this time either! Mom? Mom? Mom? Mom? Mom? Can I? Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Is that bacon? Do I smell bacon? And gouda? Really? You're eatting gouda? Can I have some? Please? Please? Please?
Cedric, what nationality ARE you, anyway?
By the way, after the parade comes on
*clap*clap*!
*clap*clap*clap*!
*clap*clap*clap*clap*!
DOG SHOW!!
My chef has informed me that today's menu will begin with stuffed mushrooms, followed by Turkey stuffed with sage and sausage stuffing. Cranberries made with orange juice and spices, mashed potaotes, squash caserole, apple pie banana pudding, rolls and several salads.
Cedric is Parisian.
Those filthy dogs...can some one please refresh my water bowl?
My mom....she has the newlyweds for this holiday. She started cooking two days ago. By the way, she's a big fan of the blog.
Your mom reads the blog?!
Vhat champagne? Tere ees no champagne. Ee 'ave confiscated eet all. Ee must go pick up Godzera from te airport and go over to Godzilla's 'ouse in Carmel. Eet vill be a good Tanksgiving tis year. Ve are 'aving much to drink and zome "lively hors d'ouvres" and ve 'ave invited te turkey Maximillian to dine vit us. 'E ees bringing te stuffing, vhile Ee vill mash te potatoes.
I want to go to Boobs' house. Also, I saw the ad for the dog show and I'm totally excited! ARF! - oh, sorry. That just kind of came out.
DOG SHOW is a tradition. I had no idea that Godzilla had a house in Carmel... one more reason to avoid moving to California.
Oh my god, Maurice is here! Maurice, I'm a HUGE fan!
Let me get this straight... we currently have two dogs, a cat, and a drunk French dinosaur involved in this discussion? No wonder Boobs' mom reads this thing.
Godzilla is retired. He has been for some time. His grandson was the one in the movie with matthew broderick. His name is Bob.
OH MY GOD, I can't believe I forgot to tell you all this:
GO TO iTunes as soon as possible, and spend the best $1 of your life. DOLLY PARTON HAS A COVER OF "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN"
That sounded strange...oh my god! SPONGEBOB!
He lives in a pineapple under the sea, though he occasionally takes a stroll above 5th Avenue.
I REALLY hate to say this, but I've got to get back to work on the pie. And at some point I need to pick up the dining table from Christine.
Actually, I need to get going, too. It's about a 20 minute drive to Tim's, thanks to ODOT's well-planned construction.
Happy Thanksgiving to all, and to all a Drunk Night!!!
I guess what I'm trying to say is "This has been awesome! Happy Thanksgiving to all, including pets, dinosaurs, kitchen utensils, mothers, and...well, whoever. Adios!"
signing off as well. Got to get started on my Thanksgiving. I don't know maybe I can watch the parade...oh wait I already know what's going to happen. Never mind. Best just get ready for the day! All best everyone, Happy Thanksgiving!
I should at least shower at some point today....have a great day everyone! Maybe next time we should try this on IM?
