Don't think I can in 2009. Any other year would be a good year. However, as circumstances are I won't be inbibing anything alcoholic or cafinated in '09.
Now wait just one second there, Samantha... I would HOPE that if you were pregnant I wouldn't find out about it through a comment on a blog entirely devoted to bitchiness and alcohol!
By the way, my paper for the PSSWR conference is entitled:
"The Black Curtain of Doubt: Finding One's Limits Before Unknowingly Lifting One's Veil of Secrecy to Total or Near-Total Strangers"
According to people who are much younger and hipper and more in touch, there are now beverages on the market which contain both alcohol AND caffeine. If Sam's going Mormon, she should definitely stay away from those. And I think Boobarella should too, maybe. Boobarella, have YOU ever thought about going Mormon?
Yes, there are many products now with booze and caffeine. I used to make a tea liqueur, and of course Kahlua has been around for a long time. Back in the BB (Before Boobarella), I used to occasionally buy a product called Espresso Stout....yes, that's right, a stout made with Espresso. It was made many leagues from here, across the Great River, closer to you than to us now.

I plan on presenting my paper:
"Perversion as Madwomen: Complicating Ephemeral Economies in Wine."
It's a look at the socioeconomics of the wine magnum and its effect on the female psyche.

Not autobiographical or anything...
Sam....is there something you need to tell us?
Do I need to go shopping....?
Maybe Sam's going Amish. Can they have caffeine?
I think you're thinking of the Mormons.
OOOOOh! Sam! Are you going to become Mormon?!

Oh, right - forgot about Kahlua, but that makes sense.
